Scheduled Auto-Backups

CellBackup is configured to automatically back up your valuable data on a weekly basis. You may select a custom daily, weekly or monthly backup schedule depending on your desired level of security. Within these options you may choose the day and time automatic backup will occur. To view or change your phone’s automatic backup settings select Setup -> Auto Backup from CellBackup’s Main Menu.

Account Information

Option 1 – Account Information – on the Setup screen provides you valuable information about your CellBackup account, including your last backup time, the number of each item backed up (such as contacts, ringtones and wallpaper) and your account ID.

Change PIN

During the account setup you will select a PIN to be associated with your account. Your PIN will also serve as your password to log into your account at CellBackup.com. If you wish to change your PIN at any time, select Setup from the Main Menu, then option 3 – Change PIN. You will be prompted to enter your old PIN and then the new PIN you wish to use. If you are unable to remember your PIN, please click here, enter your phone number and your PIN will be sent to your phone via SMS message.

Change Languages

CellBackup is currently available in English and Spanish. To switch languages, select Setup from the Main Menu and option 4 – Languages. This screen will give you the list of supported languages to choose from. New languages will be added to this list periodically, so if your desired language is not currently available, check back soon.

Data Options

CellBackup will automatically back up all the important information your phone will allow. This includes contacts, ringtones, wallpaper, music, pictures and video. Option 5 – Data Options – in the setup menu provides a list of items your phone can back up. By default, CellBackup will backup up all items possible. If you wish to not back up any items, simply uncheck the box next to the name. To keep you fully protected, CellBackup recommends you keep these boxes checked all the time.
