Before using the CellBackup application on your mobile phone, you must first accept the Terms and Conditions. The Agreement can be viewed on your mobile phone or found here.

Setup Your Account:

After accepting the Terms and Conditions, you will be prompted to set up an account on your phone. You can create a new account or use an existing account registered with Cellbackup.com. For version 3.0 your account will be identified by your mobile phone number. You may choose any PIN between 4 and 16 characters to associate with the account. In order to ensure maximum security, your phone number and PIN must be authenticated before completing the registration process.

Configure Autobackup:

Once you have completed the account setup, your phone will be automatically configured to back up . You may select a custom daily, weekly or monthly backup schedule from the auto-backup menu. To view or change your phone’s automatic backup settings, select Main->Setup->Auto Backup. If your phone is off during its scheduled backup time, it will immediately back itself up the next time your turn it on. If autobackup is unable to complete for any reason during its scheduled time, it will retry every 15 minutes until the backup is successful. Please note that backing up your phone requires airtime. Most backups can be completed in less than 1 minute..

Run Your First Backup:

The backup function saves the information stored in your phone in a centralized, secure location where it can be retrieved should you lose or damage your cell phone. At cellbackup.com you can view your content, as well as edit contact information and add additional contacts.
