CellBackup allows you to create lists of contacts, pictures, videos and/or audio files and to share those lists with friends or colleagues. Whenever a list is updated, that change is automatically and immediately sent to all who share that list so everyone is always up to date.

Creating Lists
To create a list, select "Contact Lists", "Photo Albums", "Audio Playlists" or "Video Playlists" from the left menu and then click the "Create" button. You will be prompted to enter a name for your list and given the ability to select which devices you would like that list synced with. The following screen shows you a list of all contacts, songs, pictures or videos you have saved to CellBackup and by clicking the arrow corresponding to the name you can add items to or remove items from your new list. Click "Save" to complete your list creation.

Managing Lists
You may update your lists at any time by selecting the list from the left menu. To add or remove items from your list, click the corresponding "Add/Remove" button and add or remove items as described above. You may also upload new files or contacts to the list (see the managing content section for details) or delete the list completely by clicking "Delete List" and confirming the delete.

You may share or un-share your list with other CellBackup users at any time by clicking the "Share" link while the group is selected. Use the arrows next to the person's name to transfer them to the desired "Shared With" or "Not Shared With" columns.  People you share a list with may add or delete contacts, pictures, audio, or videos from the list being shared. They may not, however, share the list with other people.

Sharing Lists
To share a list with friends or colleagues, select the list from the left menu and click the "Share List" link. The following screen will list all of your contacts who are currently CellBackup subscribers. (Note: to accept a sharing invitation you must be a CellBackup subscriber). To invite people to share your list , click the arrow next to their name in the "Contacts Not In" column.

When you receive a sharing invitation, a notification box will appear on the logged in pages of the CellBackup website telling you the name of the list and the person who sent the invitation. For more details, click "View Invite". From this screen you may accept or decline the invitation. If you accept the invitation, the list will appear in the left hand menu and the items in the list will be available for addition to your phone. To unsubscribe from a shared list , click the "Unsubscribe" link that is available when the list is selected.
