Logging In
After downloading CellBackup and creating an account, you may log in to cellbackup.com to view and manage your saved content using your mobile phone number and PIN.

Add Contacts
To add a new contact, click on the “Add Contact” button in the Manage Contacts section. Fill in any desired information you wish to save for this person and click “Save Contact”. Note: data fields that are unable to be synced with your phone are marked yellow. Information entered into these fields will be saved at cellbackup.com.

In addition to entering the contact information, you may also designate which phones you wish to save the contact to by checking the box associated with each phone below the "Make contact available on" section.

To send these changes to your phone, launch CellBackup on your phone and perform a Backup from the main menu.

Edit Contacts
To update the information you have saved for a given contact, click on the contact's name and then click on the "Edit Contact" button.  Make any changes you wish on the edit screen and click the “Save Contact” button to save updated information or click the “Cancel” button to return to the contacts page.

Delete Contacts
To delete contacts, click the "Delete Contact" button from the Manage Contacts menu. The delete contacts screen shows you a list of contacts saved on your phone or in the contacts library, as well as any that may be pending permanent deletion in the trash. You may transfer contact to or from the trash by clicking on the arrows next to the contact's name. Click the "Save" button to complete the deletions.

To view your deleted contacts, click the "Trash" option in the left pane. Contacts will be deleted from the trash after 30 days. To restore items from the trash, select the desired contacts and press the "Restore Contact" button.

Add / Remove Contacts From Your Phone
The CellBackup website enables you to set which contacts you want saved to your phone and which you would only like saved on the website. Contacts being synced to your phone are noted with a blue phone icon. Contacts not currently synced to your phone are marked with a gray phone icon.

With your phone selected in the left menu, click the “Add To Device” or “Remove From Device” buttons displayed in the full contact view to change a contact ’s sync setting.  Contacts that are pending changes will be marked with two arrows and will be updated on the phone during the next backup.

Import Contacts
CellBackup enables subscribers to easily import contact information from Microsoft Outlook ®, Microsoft Outlook Express ® and Yahoo! ®.  To import contacts from one of these sources, log into your account, click the "Import Contacts"’ button and follow the instructions provided.

Print Contacts
To print your saved contacts, press the “Print Contacts” button with either a device of full contact library selected.  This will display a printable version of your contact lists.  Select “File” -> “Print” to print this page.
